Brundage Park Playhouse, Randolph, N.J. is seeking associates to expand and round out our 2026 season production staff.  We are in immediate need of experienced Costumers and Set Designers.

COSTUMER – The costumer reports to the Artistic Director and collaborates with the director.  The costumer is paid a stipend for each production and reimbursement for costume costs.

Job duties:

• Builds and executes the costume designs for each production and agrees to work within the stated budget for each production
• Responsible for repairing the costumes during each production run.
• Measure and fitting of actors, obtain costumes out of storage, trips to thrift shops, ordering online.
• Laundering after production and dry-cleaning coordination.

SET DESIGNER – the set designer is paid a stipend for each production and reimbursed for set materials.

Job duties:

• Conceptualize and sketch initial set design based on the director’s vision and the script.
• Select and source appropriate materials and props for the construction of the set.
• Manage and oversee the set construction, ensuring all elements are built to specification.
• Maintain budgetary control over set design expenses.
• Perform regular maintenance and repairs on the set during the production run.
