Spring 2025 Dancing with Ms. Dawn! 

(ages 4-6) 6 sessions 

Wednesday 4:30-5:30, April 9, 16, 23, 30, May 7, 14

Instructor – Dawn Warga

No matter your dance experience, this class will build confidence in young dancers while developing fundamental dance skills and choreography techniques.  The class will include “musical theater dance” as well as classic and modern styles.  Students will become comfortable with body movement and expression which will prepare them for working with a cast on the stage or for carrying themselves through personal life experiences. Students will explore their artistic spirit and improve strategies for preparing for auditions and performing in shows.  The class will culminate with a short performance. All levels of dance welcome! So, get those toes wiggling, and come join us!

 

Spring 2025 Dancing for the stage—and beyond! 

(ages 7-12) 6 sessions

Spring 2025 Intro to Musical Theatre for the Budding Performer!

(Ages 5-9) MUST be in kindergarten – 6 sessions

Tuesday 4:30 – 5:30, April 8, 15, 22, 29, May 6, 13

Calling all young actors and actresses to join our musical theatre class! Each week students will discover the theatre through acting, singing, dancing, and games! During these classes, students will engage in activities that will target: listening skills, creativity, memorization, imagination, and teamwork! Our budding performers will put on a mini-show at the end of the course.

Spring 2025  Broadway Bound FUN & GAMES Theatre Workshop
(Ages 6-12, MUST be in kindergarten) 6 Sessions

Bring your imaginative young actors and actresses to join our musical theatre class! This class is perfect for those who have taken a class (Intro to Musical Theatre) with Anna before! Each week students will help the instructor create a fun filled show to perform for friends and family. Each class will encourage students to work with each other in creating this masterpiece, while of

This class is for the young performer who loves to sing, move, and act!  In a fun, relaxed, environment students will visit all three disciplines while learning about Broadway musical numbers.  Students will engage in games and exercises which build skills in group awareness, listening, memorization, speech, creativity, pace, and energy.  Each class consists of physical and vocal warm-ups, theatre activities, and exploring their favorite Broadway shows.  There will be NO performance at the end of this session.

 

Spring 2025 Musical Theater – For the Intermediate/Advanced Performer!

(Ages 9-14)– 6 sessions

Thursday 4:30 – 5:30, April 10, 17, 24. May 1, 8, 15

Instructor – Anna Gelpke

Bring your imaginative young actors and actresses to join our musical theatre class! This class is perfect for those who have taken a class (Intro to Musical Theatre) with Anna before! Spring 2025 Shining stars Cabaret !

(ages 8-14) 6 sessions

Thursday 5:30 – 6:30, April 10, 17, 24. May 1, 8, 15

Instructor – Anna Gelpke

Calling all young performers! This class will break down the process of being in a cabaret show and guide students in selecting materials such as songs and monologues to build performance skills and confidence when they step on the stage. Each session will include varying acting, singing, and movement exercises, as well as theatre games, and much more! Each student will work with the instructor in picking a song or talent to perform for friends and family at the end of the session!

 

Spring 2025 Audition Workshop
(ages 8-15) 6 sessions
Friday 4:30-5:30, April 18, 25, May 2, 9, 16, 23

Instructor:  Sammi Fishkin

This workshop will prepare the student for any audition.  Whether it be working on a 16-32 bar cut of a song or a monologue, we will learn the basic techniques of what makes a good audition.  From someone who has both auditioned and been on the other side of the table, your instructor will share their knowledge of what works and what doesn’t.  Students will learn how to properly slate, gain confidence in their audition and learn from watching their peers practicing their own auditions, all while having fun!

 

Spring 2025 Playwriting
(ages 9- 15) 6 Sessions
Friday 5:30–6:30, April 18, 25, May 2, 9, 16, 23

Instructor:  Sammi Fishkin

In a very fun and supportive environment, this course focuses on developing material based on observation, adaptation, and imagination. Students will write their own scenes and have them be performed by their peers gaining feedback from their peers and the instructor. Students will practice exercises in characterization, plot, setting, dialogue, theme, metaphor and dramatic structure.  Whether you are new to Playwriting or have been writing for years, this class adjusts to your skill level.  This class can be repeated as many times as you want!

 

Spring 2025 The Actors Workshop
(ages 8-15) 6 sessions
Friday 6:30-7:30, April 18, 25, May 2, 9, 16, 23

Instructor:  Sammi Fishkin

For the student who loves to act but doesn’t want to sing!  This class will improve your acting skills by learning techniques that will help in any type of production.  This class culminates in a short play at the end of the class for family and friends.  We will be doing a comedy that is sure to hone the students’ comedic skills as well as entertain everyone!  This class can be repeated as many times as you want as we are always producing a new comedy.
