From Revolutionary Roots to modern rhythms, Americana Bandstand brings 250 years to life! An electrifying celebration of song, dance & storytelling capturing the sounds, stories and spirit of America.
AUDITION INFORMATION
In-Person Auditions:
- Friday, May 8th from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Location: Brundage Park Playhouse’s Rehearsal Bungalow
2 Bungalow Lane, Randolph, NJ (Up the hill in the parking lot from the theater and to the left)

PERFORMANCE DATES
Veterans Community Park
100 Calais Road, Randolph, NJ
- Saturday, July 18th at 2:00 PM & 5:00 PM
- Sunday, July 19th at 3:00 PM
Audition Details:
- Open call for performers ages 8 and up
- Prepare a 32-bar cut of:
- A musical theatre or contemporary piece that fits the theme of American Bandstand / Americana
- Bring a device with your backing track or be prepared to sing a cappella
- No accompanist will be provided
We are looking for songs that reflect:
- Identity, dreams, and ambition
- American culture and storytelling
- Rock, pop, Broadway, and folk influences
Examples include (but are not limited to):
- Wicked, Waitress, Pippin, Ragtime
- Artists like Aretha Franklin, Chuck Berry, Tracy Chapman, Billy Joel, and more
We are open to creative choices as long as you can connect them to the American theme!
IMPORTANT REHEARSAL NOTE
Rehearsals will be limited, so:
- Please list all conflicts/unavailable dates in advance
- Performers are expected to learn material independently
- Come to rehearsals and run-throughs fully prepared
