SYNOPSIS:
The year is 1889 and noted authoress Josephine March has been invited to speak to the Springfield Ladies Society where she tells the audience of her book, which describes her family, and the journey they take.
With her husband off at war, Marmee is left alone to raise her four daughters - her "little women." There is the conservative Meg, spirited Jo, fragile Beth and affected but romantic Amy. As the years pass (1863 through 1867) they share some of the most cherished and painful memories of self-discovery, with their neighbors, Mr. Lawrence, his son Laurie and Laurie's tutor, John along with the kind Professor Baher. Marmee, Aunt March and assorted friends help guide the "little women" through issues of independence, romance and virtue.
A warm heartfelt family play with something for everyone.
